Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus
在因大屠杀革命被屠城后，罗马帝国沦为“被复仇反噬的腐尸”。上千具尸体堆积成黏腻的政治脓疮，蒸腾的尸气浸透着宫殿梁柱的各个角落。城里唯一幸存的专业尸体清洁工詹尼斯不得不负责处理好战后遗骸；街头小丑盖里也以协助清理为由侥幸死里逃生。在盖里的启发下，他们协同有着诸多想法却不敢行动的接生婆卡罗尔，决定和这些腐尸一起，为罗马的贵族们上演一出“荒诞的黑色狂想曲”……
In the aftermath of a massacre that has reduced Rome to ruins, the empire rots — a corpse consumed by its own cycles of revenge. Thousands of bodies pile up into a festering political wound, their stench seeping into every beam and column of the palace. Janice, the city’s last remaining professional body cleaner, is left to deal with the aftermath of war. Gary, a street clown, survives by attaching himself to the task of clearing the dead. Under Gary’s anarchic influence, the two join forces with Carol, a midwife full of thoughts yet hesitant to act. Together, they decide to turn the mass of decaying bodies into a grotesque performance — staging an absurd, dark fantasia for Rome’s ruling elite.
