S.M.A.X interweaves magic, music, and theatre, incorporating AI as both a creative and interactive force. It follows X, a basketball player who undergoes the removal of his left brain due to illness. Accompanied by artificial intelligence, he navigates a fractured reality, struggling between reason and emotion, truth and illusion, in an attempt to reconstruct his sense of self. Blending philosophical inquiry, magical spectacle, and original music, the work explores the tension between the left and right brain, the possibility of self-redemption, and the search for balance in life — ultimately reaching a spiritual destination known as the “other shore.”
